About Me.
Current Focus
As Chief Operating Officer of Space Network, I drive the commercialization of space technology across industries. I bridge the gap between innovation, investor readiness, and commercial success by leveraging my unique background in aerospace engineering, capital markets, technology, digital transformation, and executive leadership.
Purpose
My mission is to help organizations worldwide develop sustainable business models and go-to-market strategies while creating meaningful impact for their stakeholders.
I visit and study tech ecosystems around the world, working with investors and founders to identify new markets, qualified deal flow, and impact opportunities.
For almost 25 years, as a Founding Member of GlobalScot, I have been promoting and supporting the Scottish tech ecosystem by advising Scottish startups across sectors on their go-to-market strategies and investor readiness, and accessing global markets. I also help to identify and support inward investment opportunities for Scotland.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I volunteer with the Windham Mountain Pro Ski Patrol team in upstate New York, where I've earned various certifications in emergency medical response.

Originally from Scotland, I have over three decades of experience working across engineering, finance, and various technology sectors. I have worked at an executive level at Fortune 100 companies, leading enterprise transformation and change programs, and have ran institutional fintech projects for global investment firms. On the other extreme, I have founded and advised many emerging companies, focusing on go-to-market strategies and investor readiness.
From Glasgow to London, New York, and emerging ecosystems around the world, I have helped executives, founders and investors build sustainable businesses.

As COO of Space Network, I lead the commercialization of space tech and its integration across industries globally.
I am the Chair of Space Network | Africa, driving education and innovation for the next generation of Africans.
I help emerging companies raise capital, and find qualified deal flow for investors.
Scotland
As a Founding Member of GlobalScot, for over 20 years I have helped 100's of Scottish companies with their strategy and investor readiness.
I lead international investor delegations to engage with Space, Life Sciences, DeepTech, FinTech, and ClimateTech sectors.
I am co-founder of the Isle of Arran Gin Company (Arran Botanical Drinks)

I have decades of experience in building advanced trading and risk systems for global financial institutions.
I was COO of a global fintech consulting firm, managing a $100MM p.a. client portfolio.
At JP Morgan, I developed the Global FX Options trading system for FX, Commodities, Emerging Markets, and Credit businesses.

I have run many enterprise transformation and business programs for global firms and Fortune 100 companies.
I have led complex technology programs in the front office of global banks.
I have headed the $400MM/year enterprise transformation portfolio, and customer experience transformation program for a Fortune 100 insurance firm.
